About New Horizons Home Watch

New Horizons Home Watch, LLC is a certified Home Watch Company owned by Dean and Heidi Miller. We live full time in North Port, Florida along with our 2 pups, Bama Jack and Paisley Jane. 

Originally from Missouri, Dean has an extensive background in construction and real estate. Dean started Miller’s Custom Cabinets in 1986 and owned the company for 25 years. Their reputation to deliver an exceptional product on time, as promised, allowed them to grow a high end client base. Dean eventually sold the company to his brothers and the company today is one of the largest, most highly respected custom cabinet businesses in the Kansas City area. 

After selling the cabinet company, Dean went on to transition into real estate, having held licenses in Missouri, Michigan and Florida. Retired from real estate, Dean is a graduate of the Home Watch Academy and a Certified Home Watch Reporter, which includes a thorough background check. 

Heidi has a passion for serving individuals in their health and wellness, focusing on creating a healthy lifestyle, mind, body and finances. She also shares a Real Estate background having held licenses in both Missouri and Michigan. Heidi is also a graduate of the Home Watch Academy and a Certified Home Watch Reporter.

Dean and Heidi moved to Florida in January of 2017 after having spent several years as “snowbirds” themselves so, they know the importance of the care you leave your home in. 

We have been married for 20 years, we work well together, find joy in serving the local church and enjoying our beautiful surroundings here in SW Florida. We love kayaking, and time on the beach where Heidi loves to go shelling and shark tooth hunting. Dean also enjoys flying his drone or hanging out on the lanai. Their shared values of integrity and a desire to serve, shine through in every aspect of New Horizons Home Watch.
